The space

Our apartment is designed for those who want to live the "Pura Vida" lifestyle without sacrificing modern comforts or productivity.

• The View: A massive private terrace with loungers and couches overlooking the Pacific, Cabo Blanco Reserve, and frequent visits from local monkeys and exotic birds.
• The Layout: Two bright, individually-controlled air-conditioned bedrooms (Queen beds), a modern bathroom with hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen.
• The Pool: Refresh in our shared pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens and an outdoor surf shower.

Access & Logistics (Please Read)
To provide the best views and privacy in Santa Teresa, our property is located on a very steep 75-meter concrete road.
• 4x4 Requirement: You MUST have a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle (e.g., Toyota Prado/4-Runner) or an ATV/Quad to drive up the driveway.
• Parking: On-site parking is BY RESERVATION ONLY. Please message us before booking to secure a spot. Public road parking is available at the bottom of the hill.
• Fitness: Walking up the 75m hill is a great workout but requires a fair level of physical fitness.

Guest Access & Amenities
• Cleaning: Included every 4th day (except Sundays).
• Laundry: Wash, dry, and fold services are available for an additional fee.
• Mobile Coverage: Reliable 3G/4G coverage (Kölbi, Claro, Movistar).
• Surf Prep: Shared hose area for rinsing boards and sand.

Few Important Considerations for your stay.
• The Hill Drive: For first-timers, we recommend driving past our entrance and making a U-turn to approach the driveway from a downhill angle (we provide detailed instructions!).
• Town Growth: Santa Teresa is a vibrant, developing town. While our hillside location is peaceful, occasional construction noise may be heard in the distance during the day.
• Concierge: We can help arrange ATV rentals, surf lessons, yoga, and bioluminescence tours upon request.

The neighbourhood

Location Notes - Please Read Carefully!
To enjoy this exceptional location, there are a few important details. By booking our property you have agreed that you have read these notes.
The property is accessed via a 75-meter (246 feet) steep concrete road - PLEASE SEE PHOTOS
There's a beach trail walkway just in front of our sideroad Calle Castillo, which makes it very comfortable to walk to the beach.
Most guests walk everywhere, but the incline requires good mobility and basic fitness. It is also best for a backpack or small luggage.

Santa Teresa is a developing beach town, and occasional nearby construction noise is possible. If this is a concern, feel free to ask
for updated info regarding this topic, please ask before making your reservation, we'll be happy to answer any concerns!

House rules

- There is NO private parking available for vehicles or guest vehicles unless previously confirmed by host.
- Do not play loud music or use drugs on site.
- Quiet hours are 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Do not use the pool or talk loudly on the terrace during quiet hours.
- Daytime maximum noise level measured with your door closed: 75 dB. Quiet hours maximum noise level: 70 dB (Recommended by several Noise Detector Programs)
- No more than two external guests per unit are allowed to share the site or the pool. No external guests allowed during quiet hours.
- Please keep order in the property: no footwear outside your apartment; no hanging clothes or towels in the terrace handrail, do not move furniture or accessories outside your unit.
- Smoking inside is not allowed, it can be done out in the terrace.
- Please do not take the bath towels provided to the beach or
outside the site.
- Please take sand off at the outdoor shower or hose available
in the lower floor before getting in the pool or your apartment.
- Glassware and eating is not permitted in the pool area. Beware of the
potentially slippery floor around the pool.
- Apartments are cleaned at least every 4 days (except Sundays),
including the change of bedsheets and shower towels. Additional cleaning is available upon request in advance for an additional cost.
- If by accident anything breaks, please inform your host and place the broken item next to the garbage can (not inside it so the maid can see it).
- No extra guests can be added during the stay unless host has been consulted and approves.

Guest access

Our private parking is by reservation only, please ask before booking!

A steep part of the concrete road and driveway up the property requires an ATV (quad) or a high clearance 4x4 vehicle to make the drive up smoothly. We recommend a car no bigger than a Toyota Prado or 4-Runner.

If your vehicle is not a high clearance 4x4 or ATV, we can recommend a place to park in the public road.

Walking up these 75 meters requires good legs and a fairly good shape. People of a certain weight and age could have difficulties to manage that short steep section.

Interaction with guests

I prefer to be contacted via text or call if anything is needed by my guests on daytime hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Other things to note

Mobile Coverage on site: at least two bars are possible from all Mobile Internet Service Providers: Kölbi, Claro and Movistar. Mostly 3G, sometimes 4G.

Basic wash, dry and fold services for guests' items/clothing can be hired for an additional cost following instructions printed on a bag located in the drawer at the living room of the apartment.
